What we print
Most of what comes through the shop is small and practical: the bracket that cracked, the enclosure for a circuit board, the adapter that makes two things fit together. We print parts that get used, not figurines.

Process, build size and materials
We print with FDM (fused deposition modeling), which builds a part from layers of melted plastic. It is the right process for strong, functional parts at a sensible price. Our current maximum build size is 300 × 300 × 350 mm in a single piece.
Larger than that? Send the dimensions anyway. Some parts can be split and joined.

Tolerances you can plan around
FDM parts are typically accurate to about ±0.2 mm on small features, looser on large ones. Holes print slightly undersized, so press fits and bearing seats are usually tuned with a quick test print. If a dimension matters, mark it on your request and we will check it with calipers before the part leaves.
Files we accept
STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP. STEP is best when you might want changes, because it keeps real geometry instead of triangles. No file? Send photos with a ruler in frame, or a sketch with dimensions, and we will tell you what it takes to model it.
How pricing works
Print-ready jobs start at $29. Above that, price depends on machine time, material, support cleanup and quantity. Normal support removal and cleanup are included. Design work, if you need it, is quoted separately so you always see what you are paying for.
Every quote lists price and turnaround together, and holds for 14 days.
Local pickup in Bend
Work directly with the person making your part. Drop off a sample, look at a test print, and pick up finished parts without shipping anything across the country. We serve Bend, Redmond, Sisters and the rest of Central Oregon, and can ship when pickup does not work.
